We are officially 4 weeks into the school year, and we want 9th-grade representatives to join the JHS Student Council. If you want to represent the interests of the student body, promote school spirit, build leadership, and initiate activities that reflect the school’s values (contributing, caring, and committed), we want you!

How to apply:

1. Submit the Application: complete this Application Form by Friday, 10/2 at 3PM.

2. Teacher Recommendation: Ask a teacher to email Mr. Johnson a short (2-3 sentence) recommendation.

Important: Please ask your teacher for the recommendation as soon as possible - do not wait until Thursday night!

*SPORTING EVENT CONDUCT REMINDER: To ensure a positive, family-friendly environment at all sporting events, we are reminding students and families of the following rules regarding student conduct:

• All elementary and middle school students must be accompanied by an adult when attending sporting events at Jefferson and Kennedy Stadiums. Students must be supervised by an adult at all times when in the stadium.

• Elementary and middle school students will not be allowed in the stadium without an adult. 

• All high school students are required to present a student ID (either physical ID or via Infinite Campus on their mobile device) to gain entry. 

• No backpacks or large bags (exceeding 12"x6"x12") are allowed.

• Pets are not allowed, except registered service animals.

• No motorized bikes, scooters or skateboards allowed in the stadium.

• Access to the stadium without supervision or when closed is strictly prohibited.

• No re-entry allowed for any person leaving the stadium during the athletic event. 

• No exceptions to these rules.
