*TOY DRIVE FINAL DAY: Today ends team Bjorg’s Toy Drive for Shriners Children’s Hospital. You have until the end of 2nd period to donate. The 2nd-hour class that donates the most will win donuts! Good luck and thank you for your generous donations.

*TJ COFFEEHOUSE will be open for business tomorrow morning beginning at 8:15. Bring small bills to pay for your favorite treats and beverages. See you there!

*BASEBALL MEETING: There will be a meeting for all 9-12 grade students that plan on playing baseball this spring. The meeting will be held during the second half of Academic Seminar this Thursday, Dec. 14 in the Jefferson Activity Center.  

*TOY DRIVE: 24 hours remain to donate new toys or money to Team Bjorg’s Toy Drive for Shriners Children’s Hospital. Remember, if your 2nd-period class donates the most, you win donuts! Good Luck and thank you for your donations.

*WINTER SPIRIT WEEK continues with Candy Cane Day tomorrow. 9th and 11th graders should wear RED and 10th and 12th graders should wear WHITE.

*COLLEGE VISIT: If you’re interested in learning more about Southwest Minnesota State University you can sign up on Naviance. A representative will be at Jefferson this Friday, December 8th at 12:30 PM.

*SCUBA CLUB: Are you interested in learning to SCUBA dive? Wednesday, December 14th during ASEM will be your opportunity to learn more! Sign up to attend the SCUBA informational meeting by this coming Wednesday, December 6th to reserve your spot at the meeting. Sign up with Mr. Stenbeck in C126 or with Mr. Fretland in the Band Room.

*CROOKED QUILL: Do you enjoy writing poetry, short stories, memoirs, or plays? Are you an artist who loves photography, painting, drawing, or other forms of visual art? If so, then you should consider submitting work to the Jefferson Literary Magazine, The Crooked Quill. This is your chance to show off your creative work and be published! If you are interested in submitting work to the magazine, you can find one of the many flyers around school and view the QR code for more information or you can submit directly to jeffersonlitmagazine.com. See Mr. Hupton in room C5 for more information. The deadline for submissions is February 2.
