*CROOKED QUILL MAGAZINE: Couldn't make it to the Jefferson Literary Magazine release party? No problem. You can still pick up a copy of The Crooked Quill. Just stop down to Mr. Hupton's room, C5, to purchase the magazine for $15. Come support the amazing, creative voices we have at Jefferson.

*PROM TICKETS: Prom ticket pre-registration is now open. Register for prom using the QR code on the monitors, at the main office, online, or on the posters around school. You must be pre-registered in order to buy a ticket. Remember, all fees and obligations must be taken care of before you will be allowed to purchase your ticket. Tickets are $35 each and you will be able to pick up and pay for your tickets beginning next Wednesday, May 3rd. 

If you plan on bringing an outside guest to this year’s prom, come to the main office as soon as possible to pick up a guest form. Please leave time for your guest’s school to process and return the form; the earlier you get it to them the better! The deadline for returning forms is May 10th.

*ACT TESTING FOR JUNIORS: Today the 11th grade class will be taking the ACT exam at school. 9th, 10th, and 12th graders will stay home for an E-Learning day. Students should plan to check on their Campus page for their assignments.

ATHLETICS/ACTIVITIES:
*Show Choir and Show Band auditions are taking place this week. If you are interested in joining us, come to any one of the auditions. 
For Show Choir, choose between today after school in the Jefferson Choir Room, Wednesday after school at the Olson MS choir room, or Friday after school in the Oak Grove MS Choir room. If you play an instrument and want to meet the show band director from School of Rock, you’re invited to come learn more this coming Thursday after school in the Jefferson choir room. For more information about auditions, see the posters hanging up by the choir and orchestra rooms.

COLLEGE/CAREER:

 TEAMS/CLUBS:
*Congratulations to the Bloomington Robotics team for their alliance placing 5th place at the 10,000 Lakes competition! Team Bjorg also placed 14th overall out of 61 teams. The team will also be competing at the state tournament on Saturday, May 6th. Great job team Bjorg!
