*DECA: Congratulations to Jaguar DECA for a great state conference. They had 6 state finalists highlighted by Caroline Harding finishing 4th in Hospitality Professional Selling Event, qualifying her for national competition and Katie Christensen finishing 7th in Business Service Event.
*CHESS CLUB: This last weekend, the Jefferson Chess Team had an incredible performance, placing 3rd in state. Their top 4 scorers were National Master Troy Cavanah, Team Captain Jack Bellinger, Joseph Gaul, and Andrew Davies. A special congratulations to Troy Cavanah who qualified for the State Scholastic Playoffs against the other top 5 individual finishers at state.

MISC:
*PARKING PERMITS: If you have purchased your trimester 3 parking permit, don’t forget to pick it up in the main office and hang it in your car as soon as possible. If you have not purchased your permit, you should not be driving to school. We will be ticketing those cars with no permits or expired permits.
