*FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL (2024-2025): Our incoming 9th grade students will begin school a day earlier that the other students this year with a start date of Tuesday, September 3. The first day for 10-12 graders is Wednesday, September 4.

*SUMMER READING ASSIGNMENT: For those of you taking AP or Honors English next year, please look at TVs to see how to find your summer reading. There will be information on the school website or you can ask your current teacher about who to contact.

*LOCKER CLEAN OUT: If you had a locker this year, please remember to clean it out completely before you leave school for the summer. Lockers change every year and the combinations will change over the summer. You will no longer have access to your locker once school is done, so please don’t leave anything behind.

*TODAY'S SCHEDULE: School will be dismissed at 12:15 today with an optional lunch from 12:15 - 12:40. If you ride a bus home, know that the buses will depart Jefferson at 12:45 so be sure you’re outside to load before then. Best of luck on your finals!

*LOST AND FOUND: Be sure to check the Lost and Found tables in Flag Hall for your missing water bottles, lunch bags, and clothing items. Check in the main office for smaller valuables and electronics. All items remaining by the end of the school day this Thursday will be donated or repurposed.

*GIRLS TENNIS MEETING: There will be a short informational meeting for all returning and new girls tennis players for the upcoming fall season today at 3PM on the tennis courts. If it's raining the meeting will be in the lunchroom.

*GIRLS TENNIS MEETING: There will be a short informational meeting for all returning and new girls tennis players for the upcoming fall season tomorrow, May 21.  The meeting will be on the tennis courts at 3:00 or in the lunchroom if it is raining.

*CAP AND GOWN: Seniors, today is the day to head to the auditorium between classes to pick up your cap/gown and tickets for graduation. Remember, you must have your graduation fee paid, have taken care of any fines/fees/missing materials and have finish your PGP activities in order to pick up your materials.

In order to get your graduation materials that day, you need to be sure that you have paid your graduation fee, you’ve taken care of fines/obligations/missing materials, and that you have completed all of your PGP activities. *YEARBOOK DISTRIBUTION is tomorrow, 2nd - 6th hour, in the auditorium. If you ordered a yearbook, be sure to bring your school ID and enter through the correct door. The auditorium doors will be labeled by grade level. Anyone who hasn’t ordered a yearbook can still buy one. Today is the last day to order online or you can bring a check tomorrow made out to ISD271 for $82. Supplies are limited.

*SUMMER JAG POWER: Don’t forget to sign up for summer Jag Power. Registration is now open. You can sign up on the school activities website or see Wyatt in the hallways for more information.

*ALL NIGHT PARTY REGISTRATION PRICE DEADLINE: Seniors, be sure to register for the Senior All-Night Party before the price goes up. Beginning Wednesday the price of registration will increase by $10. If you want the cheaper cost, you will need to turn in your registration no later than Tuesday, May 14.
