FROM MR. PAULSEN

Hello Students!

We're now accepting applications for next year’s Student Liaison to the Bloomington School Board—a chance to represent Jefferson High School and have a voice in decisions affecting all Bloomington Public Schools.

As Liaison, you’ll:

  • Attend one school board meeting each month

  • Help write a monthly update on what’s happening at Jefferson

Apply by Monday the 19th using [this link].

Have questions for the current liaison, Jenny Wen? Email her directly or send your questions to me at mpaulsen2@isd271.org and I’ll forward them.

*WANT TO HELP MAKE JEFFERSON EVEN BETTER?

The PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports) team is behind things like Jag-u-ar tickets, Super Subs, Jag Pride Awards, and cookies for being on time. Now, we want your ideas to help shape rewards and activities that actually matter to students.

If you care about school culture and want to help make Jefferson a more positive place, join the Student JAG Team next year!

It’s a low-commitment way to make a difference—likely just 1–2 meetings per trimester.

👉 Interested? Fill out this form!

Thanks for considering—and go Jags! 🐾

JOIN THE STUDENT COUNCIL!  If you are interested in being part of the Student Council for the 2025-26 school year, please complete this form. Applications are due next Friday (5/23), and voting will occur the following week!
