*SENIORS - IMPORTANT CAP AND GOWN REMINDER! Friday, December 6 is the last day to fill out the Google form to order your graduation cap and gown. You do not have to pay for the cap and gown, but you do need to have one ordered! Go to the JHS main office if you have any questions or need help with the form.

*TRIMESTER 2 PARKING PERMITS: Beginning today, all student drivers should have their trimester 2 parking permit displayed in their car. If you have not registered and picked up your permit, please do so as quickly as possible. Cars without permits can/will be ticketed.

*CONGRATULATIONS to Andrew Larsen for being named Jefferson’s ExCEL Award nominee for 2024-2025. Nominees must be in 11th grade, participate in MSHSL-sponsored fine arts and/or athletics, demonstrate leadership qualities, show academic excellence, and be a community volunteer. Award winners will be selected at the state level in January. We’re proud of you, Andrew!

*CONGRATULATIONS to Brenden Lucas and Megan Schrooten for being named Jefferson’s Triple “A” nominees for 2024-2025. Nominees must be high school seniors with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and must be in compliance with the MSHSL Student Code of Conduct. Both Brenden and Megan are excellent representatives of Jefferson High School. We’re proud of you both!

*JEFFERSON CHEER TEAM is hosting their annual home competition, Jaguar Cheer Jam here at Jefferson in the Main Gym this Saturday 11/16. Our nationally acclaimed Varsity team will be performing at 11:30 am and 2:40 pm. All proceeds go towards the team's Nationals trip to Orlando, Florida where they fight to win their 6th consecutive National Title.

*JEFFERSON JETS: Best of luck to our Jets Soccer team who will be competing in the state competition this weekend. They will play their first game tonight at 5:00 pm in White Bear Lake. Way to go, Jets!

*COCOA AND CRAM IS TODAY! Free tutoring and hot cocoa in the cafeteria from 2:30 - 3:15 this afternoon for all freshmen who are there to study. This is a great way for freshmen to prepare for their first semester final exams.

*COCOA AND CRAM IS TOMORROW! Free tutoring and hot cocoa in the cafeteria from 2:30 - 3:15 tomorrow afternoon for all freshmen who are there to study. This is a great way for freshmen to prepare for their first semester final exams!

*AP EXAM REGISTRATIONS are due by Friday, November 15th. The google form should be filled out, you should be registered into all of your AP classroom accounts, and should have paid the testing fees by this Friday.

*LOST AND FOUND: The Lost and Found tables have been set up in Flag Hall. Please check for your missing clothing items, water bottles, and lunch bags by the end of the school day on Friday. Check for smaller, more valuable items such as jewelry, electronics, keys etc. in the main office. Any unclaimed items will be repurposed or donated.

*SENIOR MEETING IS TODAY! There is a mandatory senior meeting in the auditorium today during Advisory. The meeting will include cap and gown registration so it is very important that you attend. Please go to your Advisory classroom first and your teacher will escort you to the meeting.

*BLOOD DRIVE: The Red Cross Club is hosting a blood drive this Thursday, November 7. Students 16 and older can sign up by following the link on the QR codes around the school. Students who donate receive a $10 gift card and a chance to win $7000.

*MOCK ELECTION TODAY! Students are encouraged to cast their vote in the mock election during the lunch periods. Tables with "voting booths" will be set up in the lunchroom near the main gyms. Let your voice be heard!

*TRIMESTER 2 PARKING PERMITS: Trimester 2 parking registration is now open! Reserve your permit before November 20 so that it will be ready for you before the new trimester begins. Students are expected to have their new permit in the car beginning the first day of the trimester. You can pick up your reserved permit from the main office during the week of final exams.
